What does SevaChild do?
- SevaChild strives to ameliorate the suffering of the poorest of India's citizens. Our current engagements are:
- Providing 30-day ration kits to the most destitute of the poor -- all of whom have been relegated to an increased struggle for food and other basic necessities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Working throughout the Indian sub-continent to eradicate vitamin A deficiency disorder -- the primary cause of early childhood blindness, serious disease, and death.
- Working throughout the Indian sub-continent to supply pre-natal vitamins to women of childbearing age in an effort to ensure the birth of healthy, strong babies.
- Building wells that deliver potable water in desolate, poverty-stricken areas that have been traditionally riddled with serious diseases caused by a lack of access to clean water.
How was SevaChild started?
SevaChild International’s genesis began when its founder and president, Mr. Rick Carlton, formulated a plan to ameliorate a very insidious problem facing India’s children: nutritional deficiency resulting in serious disease and fatality.
Are my contributions tax deductible?
